“The postmaster, scribbling on his parchment, looks up reluctantly, regarding you with scorn. He glances at the poorly-wrapped parcel you’ve placed before him, then back up at you, peering over his half-moon spectacles.

“I can’t accept this without Form 3B.” He returns to his work without a second thought
 

You ask where the form can be found, and he rolls his eyes, then points to the side, indicating the next desk.

You join the line for the next desk, and after several minutes of waiting, you arrive at the front of the queue. You ask for Form 3B, and she frowns.

“Form 3B was discontinued – you need Form 27C. You can get that from the postmaster at the next desk.”

Your frustration building, you re-join the queue for the postmaster, and you wait. After what feels like an eternity, you finally reach the front of the line, and you step forward. Without even looking at you, he grunts, holds up a finger, and then taps the small sign he has placed at his desk.

Back in 10 minutes.”

Central Post Office is a 31×30 map of a city’s postal services base of operations, where the letters and parcels are sorted before they are sent out for delivery. Perhaps a friend of the party sent an angry letter in haste, and now needs to retrieve it before it reaches its destination, or perhaps the party seek to avail of the post office’s services, but find themselves lost in a maze of red tape and bureaucracy.
